Power Lifting is the type of lifting where you'd want to go for as much weight as you possibly could. In power lifting there are all kinds of little cheats you can do to up your weights. Try arching on the bench; widening your feet and point them out at a 45 degree angle on the sqaut; the higher you elbows are on the preacher curls the easier it is. These are just a couple of little cheats that can help. All that I can say is, just experiment. When you find what's right for you, stick with it and the weights will come.

Tumbling

Did you know that putting on knee wraps can put up to 50lbs. on your squat max? Now there's a "cheat" for you.

Note- when I say cheats, i don't mean cheat and use momentum.  These cheats just put your body in a better position to lift the weight.  Example- if you benched with your feet up in the air you aren't going to be able to lift your total poundages, a cheat would be for you to bring your feet down to the floor.  Automatically you would see an increase in the poundages because the way in which you push the weight up has shifted lower down in the pec. where it's bigger and is able to control more weight.  Good luck and don't use momentum.
